FPASU Alumni Association

The mission of FPASU Alumni Association is to promote a spirit of loyalty, fellowship and lifelong commitment between all generations of graduates, faculty staff, students, the University and the community.
Goals
:
The Alumni Association shall provide a link between the past, present, and future of FPASU for the purpose of achieving the mission by:
1.
Maintaining a sense of pride in the distinguished qualities of education provided by FPASU.
2.
Promoting a positive image of the University and its alumni through communication, service and leadership.
3.
Encouraging alumni to act as 'ambassadors' of the University and to assist in the recruitment of future students.
4.
 
Providing a network opportunity for alumni fellowship interaction.
5.
Maintaining involvement of the alumni with the Faculty to ensure a mutually social educational and economic cooperative life-long relationship.
6.
Ensure FPASU's continuing transfer of updated information through development and implementation of programs, activities, and events for its alumni.
7.
Rewarding and promoting alumni accomplishments through granting “Distinguished Pharmacy Practitioner Award”.
8
.Promote the Association to current students and to former students who have lost touch with the University through organizing social and scientific events.
9.
Communicating on a regular basis with the association members keeping them informed of developments within the University and the Association.

Alumni Association membership
Alumni membership is
FREE to any person who holds a degree, diploma, or certificate from FPASU. Current or past staff members and stakeholders are also eligible for membership.
All other students who did not attain a degree from FPASU will not be eligible for Alumni status unless approved by the Alumni Association.

Why become a member?
Becoming a member of the FPASU Alumni Association is the most effective way of reaching out to past friends; also you'll be able to reconnect with those who made a difference in your life at FPASU. You'll also have the opportunity to meet and mentor current students. When you become a member of our association you will be able to achieve the following objectives:

FPASU Alumni Association organizational structure 

The organizational structure of the Association involves: Association Director, Committees, Alumni members and current or past Staff members. 

Committees that follow the Alumni Association
1- Director’s committee

The Director's Committee is the executive committee for the Board and is chaired by the Association Director. Other members include the two immediate past directors and other such members as the association director wishes to appoint.
2- Public relations committee
This committee plans and coordinates activities conducted by the Association for the benefit of students and Alumni of FPASU including Reunion day, Employment day and Trips.
3-Fundraising committee
The principal responsibility of the Alumni Fund Board is to assure the success of the annual Alumni Fund. Working together with the staff, Fund Board oversees the solicitation of gifts from alumni and companies for any FPASU alumni Association purposes. The Fund Board sets annual fund goals and objectives and monitors progress toward the achievement of those goals.
4- Continuing education committee
This committee is responsible for offering courses covering a wide range of subjects, and many of them lead to university qualifications. Provision is made for individuals, organizations, and professional groups. Courses are offered on a part-time basis, online, or in the form of short courses (one day to several weeks) held at the campus of Ain Shams University.
5- Undergraduate committee
FPASU is very pleased to announce an Alumni Mentoring Program, designed to ease the transition for students from study to employment.
The program brings together students in their final years of study with experienced professionals from the public and private sectors. Each student will be given the chance to communicate with professionals who they can approach for practical advice and guidance about working in their field.
