The Department

The department is concerned with studying the theoretical and the practical physicochemical properties of different active and inactive substances that enter in the composition of different dosage forms. The department is also concerned with studying the different techniques used in dosage form manufacture weather being solid, liquid, gaseous or semi-solid , they may also be sterile or non-sterile dosage forms. More over , the department studies the different quality control tests and the basis of good compounding techniques done to insure that the dosage form produced will comply with the universally accepted limits and standards.        

The department offers consultation services in the pharmaceutical prescribing  fields and in the comparative bioavailability measurements of different pharmaceutical dosage forms.
