The department is concerned with teaching
courses of general microbiology and immunology, pharmaceutical
microbiology, medical microbiology, biotechnology and public health.
As well as supervising
other related curricula such as
parasitology and pathology. Besides to co-operation in teaching and
researches fields with some other medicine and pharmacy faculties in
other governmental and private universities at the bachelor and post
graduate studies level.
The department aims to confirming the basic
concepts of microbiology and immunology to the students by
means of theoretical and practical sessions regarding basics of
microbiology and immunology.
